An 18-year-old has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-year when an after-school brawl broke out at a strip mall on Long Island.
It happened at around 3:45 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16 in Oceanside.
Nassau County Police announced early Wednesday evening, Sept. 18 that Tyler Flach, of Lido Beach, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
He will be arraigned on Thursday, Sept. 19 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
The victim, identified as Khaseen Morris, was stabbed in the chest area. A second victim, a 17-year-old boy, suffered a broken arm and swelling to his head.
Morris was hospitalized in critical condition and died from the injuries overnight.
